About the club
The Beech Mountain Club was founded in 1967, beginning as a summer retreat before transforming into the year-round leisure center that it is today. The trademark golf course, initially carved from the scenic mountain terrain by noted golf architect Grady Maples, was later renovated and extended by Tom Jackson. The Beech Mountain Club is a private entity, with membership limited primarily to the property owners on Beech Mountain and few exceptions made.
