It was awesome and next door is the Hellen Woods Park plenty of space for fishing and watching the Ocean boats and ship's and barge's and shrimp boats

The members are absolutely amazing! So that’s not the issue. However, If you’re applying for work just don’t. Poorly managed. The work is easy but there is no structure and zero delegation. The acting manager has a meltdown then goes chain smokes out back when a repetitive concern is brought up because she doesn’t know how to people manage then it escalates and results into calling the staff children and throws the staff under the bus to save face with the board. She brings her boyfriend in to help when it’s short staffed and he also has a meltdown during shift, as well. There was a lot of unnecessary drama that could have been avoided caused by one server who quit already. There is no room for growth. If you already have years of bartending experience then don’t waste your time here. There is someone with barely a year under there belt who won’t allow you to make your own drinks or add anything new to the menu or allow you to make something as simple as an old fashion without dirty dumping it. They don’t know the difference between a mudslide and a bushwacker and the drinks they claim to come up with are drinks from Pinterest or a book from Target or old drinks slapped with a new name. They don’t change out their person in charge sign above the bar which is a legality no matter if it’s a private club or not. The establishment has rats. There was a dead raccoon in the wall for two weeks. Happy sailing.

Love it. It’s such a great spot to gather with fellow boat people, race a sailboat, eat great food, and maybe fish a little. The Junior program is first rate. It’s unpretentious, non-fussy and just first rate.

The most beautiful spot to see sunrises just know you have to get out there about 5:30 AM to catch the coloration. Make sure you don’t blink because it sneak upon you.
