The Willow Point Golf and Country Club was established in 1961 on the scenic banks of Lake Martin. The club, part of the Russell Lands community, quickly became recognized for its immaculate course and stunning views. Architect Thomas H. Nicol, a member of the American Society of Golf Course Architects, designed the original 18-hole course.
