This is a beautiful country club hidden amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. Everyone is friendly and courteous. The grounds and buildings are in impeccable shape.

This is going to be a lot. There is a place in Arizona that combines over 100+ years of golf heritage in an urban setting, that challenges the golfer in a way that is very decietfully unassuming...with the hazards, trees, green ungulatuons and speeds that can absolutely demoralize a player without finesse. There is not incredible elevation, but you will find yourself extremely challenged with the aforementioned. The course is always top notch conditions. The views absolutely beautiful. The clubhouse, freshly renovated, does not lose its history. But what I would say stands out the most, is the staff, across the board. I have never encountered someone without a smile or diligently working to make every round, a best experience, no matter what day or event you are attending. That is only sweetened by the calibur of the members that break the persona of a "stuffy country club" vibe, inviting you in with a handshake and conversation, some libations and memories shared. I may be a bit of a nerd for this, but one of my favorite places in Arizona is looking out on 18 from the 2nd story balcony after a day on the course, with the sun waning, reflecting the backdrop of a bustling city, with a strong drink in hand, surrounded by good humans. If you love golf, you will love this place In downtown Phoenix.

I would like to congratulate this amazing crew that keeps the Arizona Tennis Classic running and specially to ‘Alisha’ who was at the ticket stand at around 19:00hrs. She was so amazing with the ADA people! Despite inclement weather and delays she made our visit and enjoyment to this tournament one of the most pleasant I have been to in a long while! The care, respect, and professionalism she displayed to people with handicap and disabilities was incredible. Thank you Alysha and AZ Tennis Classic! 5 stars as always.

PCC has been around for over 100 years right up 7th Street at Thomas behind an attended gate entry. Very comfortable and civilized vibe in a very well kept surroundings with beautiful flowers everywhere. I played tennis with a member friend, on recently resurfaced courts, which were great! They also have a golf course and driving range and I hear they have great family activities and numerous social and philanthropic events going on constantly. I'm actually considering membership since I am moving to downtown PHX in a few months.

I submitted a last minute request via Troon Prive and was worried it may not be authorized in time. Thankfully, my home club and Devin were able to communicate effectively to accommodate my request. Given the extreme heat in this area recently, the course is in phenomenal condition. The facilities are old and I saw some negative commentary on google reviews but personally I think it adds more charm and traditional setting. The course itself isn't super long or difficult, but if you left your rangefinder in your hotel room like I did, you may struggle and find the fairway bunkers a lot (speaking from personal experience).
