Presidio Yacht Club

The Presidio Yacht Club is located in a little cove just inside the Golden Gate bridge. The area used to be Ft. Baker before it was decommissioned and turned into public space.

The Presidio yacht club is a little known place where you can park your car near the base of the Golden Gate Bridge and enjoy the incredible view, with very little tourist traffic around. There is a bar and restaurant that is very friendly and welcoming that you can enjoy. A fun spot

It is a cool little bar, open to the public, with a million-dollar view. Just this past Sunday, we arrived at about 3 pm and a band was setting up. We had the most fantastic Greyhounds with fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice - yum! (Don't let them put a splash of soda water, it ruins the fresh squeezed grapefruit juice) The band was a fun country/swing band and the hamburgers are good.

I’ve danced the night away here weekend before the pandemic. This was my first return since, nice drop in for a drink after a day in San Francisco. The views are mesmerizing!

What a cool historic building! I was directed to go to the yacht club where I could grab a freshly made hamburger and enjoy one of the best views of the Golden Gate Bridge available! They were right about both. The food was delicious and the young lady who served me was about as nice as they come. then there's a panoramic view of the Golden Gate Bridge right from the dining room. If you're not with kids this would be the place to go to check out the bridge.
