In 1921, George Thomas designed the original nine at Red Hill, located about 40 miles east of downtown L.A. A couple decades later in the mid-1940s, Thomas’ longtime design partner Billy Bell added a second nine at Red Hill. In 2020, Casey O’Callaghan led a complete bunker renovation, bringing back the original shapes and locations used by Thomas and Bell. Even though Red Hill is under 6,600 yards, it’s a ball-strikers track, with narrow tree-lined fairways that bank in different directions and small greens that demand precise approaches.

What a great golf course. Awesome history too having been built in 1921 and is in immaculate shape. If I Iived in the area I would join in a heartbeat. Staff is amazing and if you call them from the course they'll drive food/drinks out you.

I never felt any kind of pressure at all with the venue because of her. The best day of my life- I get to thank her and RED HILL COUNTRY CLUB— for helping us make that happen! I wanted to share my thoughts on a truly exceptional golf course I recently experienced. While it is a private country club, the quality of the course is simply amazing. Each year, this course hosts the San Antonio Hospital tournament, and it truly is one of the greatest tournaments I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. Beyond the impressive course, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which really enhances the overall experience.

Excellent course with tree lines for a change (at least around that area). Some tee shots require course knowledge. Greens have plenty of undulations to them. Gorgeous!
