Overall the resort is a step into luxury. Love all that the grounds offer from games to coffee shop/store to fire pit sitting areas. A shuttle around the property is available and was a welcome. We stayed in an area with more of a time share vibe. Next time I want to be near the mansion. Great for families, dogs and getaway.

Fantastic resort! We booked a home here, 3 bed, 2 bath.. and spent time after Christmas 3 days 2 nights. We enjoyed golfing, tennis and warm water pool, and weather was fortunately Sunny days mostly during our stay. Napa downtown is in proximity gives access to more food options! Resort staff is friendly and amenities are great! Would like to visit again!

Beautiful resort, we enjoyed a weekend getaway, the seclusion and I enjoyed the massage at the spa, although while their main spa is closed their massage pricing should reflect a change, you get massaged at a hotel room. This should be a lot less than compared to a spa with amenities. The rooms while nice, lack modern features such as smart TVs also noise cancellation, we could hear the people next to us above us and outside.

I stayed at this property a number of years ago and liked it, but on this trip it felt like it is over the hill. It’s definitely an aging place that is not showing as well as it once did. The rates are those of a 5 star property, but the value isn’t there anymore. The rooms are in need of a refresh. Everything felt a little broken. Housekeeping didn’t do a great job during our stay either. They did not replenish everything (soaps, toilet paper, etc.). One day we were inexplicably missing the body wash and conditioner from the shower. Another day we were given stained sheets AND blankets. Some towels were taken but not replaced. It just felt like there was a lack of attention to detail. We also attended the New Year’s Eve party in the ballroom, which was another overpriced affair. They were serving bottom shelf wine at a $250 a head party. The sparkling offering was Wycliff, which I can buy at Total Wine for $6.50 a bottle. The food offered was tacos, which I wouldn’t expect at a $250 per person party. Overall it just felt like a disappointing, overpriced stay. The location is really the only saving grace for this place. It’s convenient to Napa and to a number of wineries.

The actual best place to stay in wine country hands down. It’s a laid-back luxury experience that offers so many amenities and activities for a group, family, or couples. The rooms are large, the beds super comfortable, probably the best shower I’ve ever had at a hotel. Everything from the spacious King Suite, to the friendly service, marketplace and cafe full of goodies for afternoon coffee and breakfast, wood fired pizza for dinner, pickleball courts available to guests, and a nice bar in the mansion… huge fan!! We will be taking our friends and family here for generations to come - it’s iconic like that!
