They run this place old school, but that’s what makes it great. Amazing course and worth the alumni association fee. Wish the pro shop had more items. Of course they have some great practice areas also. The fairway rough is very thick and lost several balls which was deemed findable. Classic layout and natural challenges. The greens are super fast and very very well maintained. The green side bunkers are really deep.

Incredible place. Just hope you have a good day controlling your ball. Otherwise you'll not want to play here. Only reason I gave 4 stars due to the rough 4-12 inches. Greens lightening fast.

Greens are great, fairways have some unrepaired divots though. Too bad they don’t have a driving range. Nearest one is their range which requires a short drive. Love the course overall.

Played 2/4/24 @ 11:10 AM 2 HCP Overall: Solid collegiate track winding through the edge of Palo Alto. Probably overpriced for guests but amazing deal for students. Greens: Excellent, roll true and fast Design: front 9 is a bit pedestrian in my opinion, but the back 9 made up for it with some great views and challenging risk reward shots. Very walkable. Challenging enough for good players but playable for all skill levels. Staff: Great No driving range, you have to use the campus practice facility. Would definitely go back!

Great old design of George Thomas and Billy Bell. Very well routed, bunkering is representative but comes off a bit repetitive at times as homogenous style. A routing gem not to be missed, but not open to the public. Finish is very strong.
