Visited for a birthday party... place was very nice

November 23rd update, I have been fishing here almost every weekend hoping i catch something from 4-8 hours from morning to night in every spot and i’ve used every type or lure from cut bait, worms, lures, hotdogs, everything i have only caught 1 fish and then i never do again, i’ve been to lake heritage and caught 13 so i know its not me. They removed lily pads so the fish cant get any cover, there is so much vegetation underwater to the point where i’ve caught over 20 lbs in my entire life of just vegetation, when i used to fish with my grandpa we would catch 10-20 everyday each, thats when they cared about the fish they had lily pads they didn’t have tunnels where the fish can migrate anywhere to and they don’t do restocks, the last time they cared was 2019-2018 but now the fishing is miserable the fish probably all died off, they do not care about the fish or the fishermen. You’re best off going to a lake nearby if you want actual fun fishing, otherwise you’ll sit there for hours. Over the past 5 YEARS of fishing i’ve caught around 12-20 fish but when it was 2019 or 2018 i would catch that same amount i would in 5 years, its honestly sad and i pity and feel bad for all the grandparents who buy a fishing rod and try giving their grandchildren a fun experience that i had when i was a kid because they wont get anything. absolute miserable place for grandchildren, theres nothing you can do without the resident, you can only swim 2 days for 3 hours from 3-6 and if you wanna swim on a weekday it has to be 10-12, fishing also sucks because they dont care about them they dont do restocks and they built tunnels for the fishes to go anywhere, it absolutely sucks and if almost any resident sees you they despise you, i remember one time i was with my grandma and a resident called the office and complained because they wanted me to leave. i got kicked out of the pool . and i remember wjen i went fishin i got cussed out by a old man because it was too early. 6/17/25 i went fishing and i almost got hit in the head by a golfer, they dont warn you just hit it at you

Beautiful. An oasis. There are so many fun activities and friendly people to enjoy them with. Fun in the sun golfing, swimming, enjoying the scenery.

This is home! I am deeply, profoundly, in love with this place. From the well-kept roads to the beautifully manicured golf course to the incredible friends I have made here, there is no place I would rather be. Nestled in a valley between snow-capped mountains, we are warmly kissed by the sun and cooled with coastal breezes. Active days give way to quiet evenings for restful sleeping. Activities abound. Fishing, golfing, shuffleboard. aqua aerobics, horse shoes, dancing, parties, bbqs, luaus and so much more, are keeping many us young into our 90s and 100s! My husband and I are so happy we found this little paradise.
