Our son has recently become a member. It's an amazing place with very friendly members who are more than happy to assist new starters and provide training and encouragement. The location is idyllic, and the clubhouse has a lovely family cosy feel to it. The food afterwards is hearty and well priced, but more than anything is the wonderful sense of friendliness. It's not expensive and our son loves being outdoors and learning new skills and making friends.

Visited with my brother-in-law to support him as he has M.S. The staff and volunteers were all amazing made it a day to remember. They also gave us tea and biscuits and a good laugh. Thanks, John and Andy, Aintree, Liverpool.

Friendly and welcoming sailing club, we attended a well organised event here. Great lunch and cakes!

Thinking of joining. People seem friendly but most are at sailing clubs. Subscription is reasonable, cannot say more at this stage. Excellent views and wind. 2nd highest sailing club in North so wind here when others have less. Could take a while to warm up in the spring compared to lower laying and shallower waters.

I attend this club as part of the Sailability Group. It is excellent if you are disabled and want to learn to sail singlehandedly, in a double or let someone sail for you. It is a friendly and welcoming club and there is recreational and competitive sailing available. Come down and check us out any Friday 1pm til approximately 4pm during March to October. Or email Hannah at sail@sailability for more information!
