After looking forward to time spent together with friends I ordered Shrimp Scampi at an alumni gathering in December. Two other people at my table ordered the same and at a rather high cost. We were all disappointed in the meal. Shrimp Scampi, by definition, is flavored with a lot of garlic. None of the three of us could taste any at all. In fact, it tasted rather "lemon-y". In addition, the tray of tiny desserts was also a big disappointment. The way I feel now I will not be going back to Cafe Louise for another meal on future trips back to Newington.
