Bird Key Yacht has become our home away from home. We love the activities, the food is incredible, the view is the best in Sarasota, and the people are great. Sarasota has a lot to choose from, but whether we want a quiet dinner or game of tennis or bocce followed by cocktails with friends, BKYC is where we want to be. We didn’t intend to join a yacht club but Bird Key keeps getting better and it’s been over 7 years that we’ve been members.

This is a great intimate club. The members are friendly and inviting and the social life is very active here.

Food and service were exceptional. My wife and our host had the 6 ounce burger and although it looked quite good my fish sandwich tastes great. It was quite large and spread over the two buns. I had to cut it in half and stack it to get it all into one sandwich. The aoli was flavorful. My wife had the sweet potato fries which I sampled and they were probably the best we have had. I had the slaw which was prepared with vinegar instead of mayo and it was crisp and refreshing.

I absolute love the grounds and reception areas of Bird Key Yacht Club. One of my favorite venues to photograph weddings.
