Still very expensive, much less magical This is our 4th trip staying at the Yacht or Beach Club in the last 5 years, and unfortunately, it was significantly less positive than our prior experiences. Disney has made a lot of changes to try to improve margin in the COVID era, and those changes meaningfully diminish the resort experience. They also seem to have replaced their previously knowledge and friendly staff members with newer employees who not as strong in either area. Upon arrival, we learned that instead of the garden view room we had paid extra for, we’d been “upgraded” to a slightly larger standard view room. When we got to the room, there were little bugs which appeared to be fleas. We are able to move to a different room, but only after spending the night in that one. The staff also seemed to be a lot less friendly and helpful that ever before. I observed one staff member chastise a guest for letting her pre-teen daughter change in a bathroom stall in the Yacht Club bathroom. The guest explained that she needed to do it in the bathroom because she’d had to check out of her room at 11, but the staff member remained adamant that they leave and find another place to change. The dearth of housekeeping was another major issue. We stayed 4 nights and did not have our room cleaned a single time, despite the posted claim that our room would be cleaned every other day. Once, when my 5-year-old spilled milk on the bed, we asked to have the sheets changed, and were instead brought a bag of towels and sheets. If I had it to do again, I would stay off-site. There just isn’t any real benefit to staying on-site when prices are so high and service is so poor.

We stayed at Disney’s Yacht Club in Orlando and honestly… it didn’t live up to the hype (or the price). Biggest issue: noise. The walls/floors felt paper-thin. We could hear our neighbors talking all night and every single step from the people above us. It was hard to sleep, which is kind of the whole point of a hotel. The room itself was fine, but the bathroom was tiny and for what they charge, the basics weren’t there,, no toothbrush or anything helpful like that. The location is nice, but even that was a bit disappointing: the boardwalk across the lake felt pretty dead, barely anyone around. It honestly seems like the crowd has shifted over to Disney Springs. Service was good and everyone was polite, but it wasn’t “wow” service like the ratings make it sound. Overall, it wasn’t worth the money for us, and I wouldn’t come back.

Great experience from start to finish. All of the services were great. The hotel is top notch from the moment you exit your vehicle to the accomodation of any request you may have. Our son fell ill and even at 3 a.m. their services didn't fail to exceed expectation. The clerk at the main lobby front desk, Lori (from Denver by way of Pittsburgh) aided in locating and supplying medicine and general care items to help my 4 year old recover in as quick a manner as possible so he could enjoy his time at Disney World. She is a kind and sweet lady who went above and beyond to help salvage as much of our experience as possible (even though she wasn't feeling well herself). Phenominal customer service. Phenominal staff. Phenominal experience.

Absolutely beautiful resort and exactly what we needed after our (non-disney) Cruise! Everyone was so helpful and our room is great and in a quiet location. Wish I could request that exact room again some time! Others might not like the distance from the elevator, but I loved that it was tucked in and away from usual hallway noise.

This place transports you out of Florida and makes you feel like you’ve arrived at an upscale yacht club in the Hamptons, NY. The ambiance is elegant and coastal, with décor that blends sophisticated details, light colors, and relaxing seaside elements throughout the hotel. Even though it’s set on a lake, the atmosphere gives you the sensation of being right on the beach, thanks to the views, the breeze, and the overall design. The service is exceptional from the moment you arrive—staff members are attentive, friendly, and well-organized. The food is equally impressive, with dishes that are fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Everything works together seamlessly: the environment, the professionalism, and the quality. They have a water taxi that takes you to other places like The dolphin swan, Disney broad-walk, Epcot center, Hollywood studios. The taxi runs every other 10 minutes and the ride last for about 2 minutes.
