Crystal River Yacht Club

As a new member of Carefree boat club, my wife and I have been extremely impressed from the very beginning when I completed my safety training class on a weekend mind you I sent an email into the boat club advising them of this and in less than an hour on a weekend in the evening I get an email and advise me the Captain will be contacting me to schedule the completion of the training, And within that same hour, the Captain Brad for Crystal River contacted me and scheduled the on water training. Well, I could go on and on, but our experiences have exceeded our expectations. There isn’t any buyers remorse one of the best decisions we’ve ever made since we started boating many years ago?

My wife and I have had conversations about buying a boat but always concluded that it wouldn't be worth it by the time we find the right boat for the right price, find a place to store it, insure it, maintain it and then trailer it to get it in and out of the water every time we wanted to use it. Also, we really had no experience with boating. Joining Carefree boat club is the way to go.They took my wife and I out on a boat and trained us at no additional charge. Now all we have to do is reserve a boat of our choice online and when we get there the boat will be ready to go, loaded with all the required equipment. Its easy and for the price its a lot less expensive then buying your own boat. Since we've joined, they've hosted a social gathering at a local restaurant and held a training session on how to scallop. The owners and staff are friendly and knowledgeable about every aspect of boating.

We are so happy that we joined the Carefree Boat Club! It’s such a great idea to enjoy boating without the expense of buying a boat, maintaining, and storing it. Their staff are helpful and friendly. Ginger plans social events for the members, like the recent scalloping class. It’s a great way to experience life on the water in Florida!

What an AMAZING day on the water in one of the most beautiful places to boat! The dock staff were helpful, informative about locations of the springs, helped us to and from our truck with all of our bags and cooler. The boat was immaculate, fully fueled and ready to go. Highly recommend this location for anyone who wants to experience the Gulf Coast!

What a great way to do boating! Carefree Boat Club makes it easy to enjoy boating with several different types of boats without all of the hassles associated with boat ownership. Everyone involved with the club is so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We will be members for life!
