Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort: Edgewater Beach

We were forced to leave or put our service animal in a kennel during our stay in April 2025. I was asked to provide a letter from my physician stating what my disability is. This is illegal. The security staff and owners are in desperate need of training on the laws of ADA. The security person appeared every time I left the room. I felt targeted and harassed. We will miss staying there as it is a wonderful facility. We chose to leave so our friends could stay and enjoy their vacation. And putting the service animal in a kennel is not an option. We have always received a high rating following our stays including this stay from the owners.

Absolutely one of the BEST condos we've ever stayed in. Everything was so convenient. Restaurant there and bar and so many other things to do and never have to leave for anything if you don't want to. They had live music playing one night. Pools for kids and adults and just past the pools is the ocean. Absolutely perfect!! Hope to go back next year.

We had a incredible week of vacation. The weather and water were as perfect as I've ever experienced. The beach was very clean and uncrowded. Our room was outstanding! Perfect view, very clean and comfortable. We'll be back here again soon.

We stayed in one of the villas through Southern Vacation Homes on Airbnb, and overall it was a really nice experience! Honestly, we wish we had booked a condo directly on the beach—I thought we were going to be right on the sand, but the villas are actually across the street. It wasn’t a big deal since we could drive over and park by the condos, but for a beach trip we’re more of a ‘relax right on the shore’ type than a ‘walk across the street’ type (we save the walking for hiking trips, not beach vacations 😅). That said, the resort itself made up for it with so much to do! Multiple pools, hot tubs, a spa, sauna, and endless amenities—it felt like there was always something to enjoy. It’s definitely a place where you won’t get bored, and the overall atmosphere was great for both relaxing and staying entertained. We’d absolutely come back, but next time we’ll be booking one of those condos right on the beach!

We were staying here as a vacation rental on the 11th floor. I loved the hospitality of our host through Airbnb. The staff working the bars were super friendly and really enjoyed talking to them. The pools were very well kept and they even had a movie night going on in the big pool for the kids. There was a nice stretch of beach with very easy access from the hotels. The souvenir cups drinks were pretty good. We tried them all and the mango was our favorite. I would definitely recommend staying here if you could! The beach was not very crowded or the pools!
