Lauderdale Yacht Club

This was a celebration with friends and family of a brilliant inventor of medical item that is saving lives and cousin who tragically contracted ALS at age 58 and passed at 60.. Over 100 friends and family were there in a magnificent huge room at this incredible club for sailors and yacht people. I did not explore too much as the memories, eulogies kept coming from his friends and family! Adjacent to the banquet hall is another incredibly huge room with dining tables. Only a few people were in there.bit is Saturday early evening. There is a buffet area, was not in service tonight. Bathrooms were squeaky clean abd modern. There are yachts outside and another area for parties or casual get togethers. It is on a canal connected to the Intracoastal waterway in Ft. Lauderdale. Nestled in a residential area. Valet parking. My cousin never owned a boat so I'm not sure why it was held there except that the room and ambience was perfect!

A group of friends went there for lunch after a close friends funeral. Very pleasant and relaxing to talk to one another.

Best family yacht club with youth sailing teams, great restaurants, private events and outdoor fun located on prime Ft. Lauderdale waterfront location.

Good food, good atmosphere very attentive and beautiful view. It is a private club so must be a member or a guest of the member to access the facility

Such a classic establishment. They have maintained this facility so nicely over the years with the upgrades but nothing gaudy or extravagant. Tennis courts are kept up, And the staff is always so friendly. You feel very welcomed and at ease at this yacht club that has been here forever. A true staple of Fort Lauderdale. An old Goldie for sure.
