Very posh. Nice place for event

Monarch Country Club has an outstanding team, and my experience with their Event Sales Coordinator, Lauralee Rexroad, has been exceptional. She helped me plan a beautiful luncheon following my dad's funeral and was incredibly caring and sincere throughout this sad time. Years ago, Monarch also hosted my parents' 50th anniversary celebration, which was amazing. The level of service, compassion, and professionalism at Monarch is truly top-notch.

Lived here for 15 years and it is an excellent community. The club is a great place to unwind or have a meal. The menu contains the items you would expect, some comfort food and some surprises - once a week is Chef's Day where they try new recipes. I have never had anything less that USDA Prime in the restaurant, and most cuts are also dry aged. Excellent quality. The golf course is beautifully maintained and just difficult enough to be a challenge, and most parties move through nicely - never had to ask to play through. The exercise room is great - added a few years ago and has everything you need to stay in shape. An interesting detail - the road surface inside the club is exactly 10 miles. So walking, riding, skating - whatever - you have a convenient course laid out for you. It's a non-equity club, so you don't have to join. The monthly fees are within the moderate range and I think you get a lot for your money. I would recommend Monarch. Carlos The Jackal

Nice country club to play golf at. Guard gate can get a bit congested but once in, it’s very enjoyable. Facilities were nice. Range had nice balls and was well kept. Practice areas included putting, chipping, sand and pitch areas. Staff was on the ball and very friendly. Course was well manicured and fair. Holes at times were spread out a bit but I’m a cart not so long away. Private but memberships available.

Overall nice, but slightly below average when you consider it's a private country club. The condition of the course was average. For the middle of March, I was expecting most of the course being green, but it was brown in many places. I'm not an expert on Florida golf course conditions, but I know that the course was dry shampoo in need of some irrigation. The greens were fast, hard, and brown... Once again they felt dry... I can really spin a ball from 120yds in and I couldn't get many balls to stop. The staff were friendly, the carts were in excellent condition, but the pro shop was tiny (felt like an afterthought).
