This golf course was an abomination. Not family friendly at all. We called and asked if we could take our kids out to play 9 holes and asked for a tee time, and the man in the pro shop insisted that we didn’t need a tee time for 9 holes. When we showed up, he promptly scoffed and said that no children under age 8 are allowed to play. WHAT!? We have 3 kids under 8 and they play competitively in US Kids golf tournaments. The pro shop man was so rude. This isn’t Augusta😂 Not sure who made this policy but it needs to be revised. Military kids need to be able to play on base. Ridiculous! To add insult to injury, the starter chased down my husband, who was carrying our range balls because he needed to use the bathroom and didn’t want anyone to take them, and yelled at him for taking them too far from the range. These people take themselves WAY too seriously!

Greens punched a few weeks ago and furry, and a few got disease spots on them (blue). All the bunkers are garbage, full of weeds and no sand. Good pro shop with good prices. With three 9s, you would think thru could do some fairway/bunker maintenance while aerating the greens.

It’s not worth playing here. The price is cheap but they will close the course for “lightning” when there’s none even close. I made it through 4 holes and they only gave me a rain check for 9 free holes. Mind you there was zero rain, zero thunder, and zero visible lightning. They gave a 30 minute estimate to reopen the course and then continued to push that time for hours 30 minutes at a time with partly cloudy skies over the course the entire time.

This course is well maintained; the greens and fairways are in great shape on all 27 holes. The customer service in the pro shop is exceptional as well. Also, the driving range as well as practice areas are in excellent shape.

Amazing course! I was in town for a few days and played multiple rounds. The tracks was excellent and the white course was my favorite. Overall the course was in great shape and the pro shop was nice. The staff also treated me to the best of their abilities. Would recommend it anyone in the Jacksonville area.
