Ben Hogan would practice at Seminole before heading to The Masters. It's the greatest 2nd shot golf course in the world. Don't be deceived by what you see off the tee because after your drive, it's a course that will lull you into its sharp teeth. Seminole is a gem that has always held a special place in my heart. Upon first glance, Seminole might appear deceivingly simple. But golfers, both seasoned and novices, will quickly understand the genius of Donald Ross as they navigate this masterpiece. The design, akin to the ebb and flow of a riveting championship match, keeps you on your toes, challenging not just your skill but your very approach to the game. The fairways, pristine and carefully contoured, are a testament to nature and design working in tandem. Much like how every shot in a golfer’s career adds up, every subtle slope and undulation here culminates in a course that’s both challenging and fair. The greens, often elevated with deceptive surrounds, remind me of the greens at Augusta – they require a combination of precision and imagination. Now, the wind. Oh, the Atlantic breeze! It's Seminole's unseen guardian, constantly shifting, turning potential birdies into bogeys if you're not careful. This breeze adds an element of unpredictability, echoing the very essence of golf – every round, every hole, is a new challenge. Seminole’s bunkering is nothing short of art. Strategically placed, they're not just hazards but vital aspects of the course's narrative, nudging you to think, adapt, and sometimes, take risks. I ended up with a dark tan because I spent so much time in the sand. But beyond the game, what truly stands out about Seminole is its soul. The club, with its rich history and the ethos of preserving the purity of golf, resonates deeply with me. It's a reminder of why we play – not just for the victories or accolades but for the sheer love of the game. For those fortunate enough to play here, I'd advise you to take a moment, look around, and soak in the beauty, both natural and designed. Let the gentle roar of the Atlantic and the whispering palms be your soundtrack as you embark on this timeless golfing journey. I've come to realize that some places offer more than just a round of golf; they offer an experience, a memory. Seminole, with its charm, challenges, and character, is undoubtedly one of those places. Respect the course, and it will reward you in ways you never imagined.

We played here on a Monday in mid-May 2023. The staff from top to bottom treated us very well. I appreciated the experience very much because I am an avid golfer, and this is a golf club. There aren't a ton of amenities outside of the focus on golf, and providing support through the staff and well prepared lunch items for golfers. The course itself is a "typical" Donald Ross experience, meaning that the greens are severe, there are places on the course where you simply can't hit the ball if you expect to survive the experience, and the routing and layout is superior to other designers. It's a bit of a dichotomy in that you can see the Atlantic Ocean from several holes, and there are elevated areas with beautiful scenery, while at the same time you have some pretty mundane views of the course. The golf experience is wonderful. The greens were running fast and extremely well kept and smooth rolling. The caddies provided excellent guidance and everyone in our group had a good time. What a wonderful experience to play a historical gem from Donald Ross.

The crown jewel of Juno Beach. A sand and marshland ocean front parcel was converted into one of America's finest golf courses by legendary golf course architect Donald Ross, Sr. in the 1920's. I have never been on the property or played the course. Only a very select few have access, the rich, powerful and famous.

Truly a gem in the golf world. Easy off the tee but the second shots are tough with sloped greens and traps making accuracy and distance control a priority or you could be making double. History of this golf club is amazing. If you're lucky enough to be able to play, it's a must go!

This is one of the nicest courses I've played on. The course is a little challenging with a few bunkers but it's very enjoyable. The staff goes out of their way to be not only helpful but extremely friendly and I appreciate the good services they provide.
