Such a beautiful place. I have been to a few shows here it's always a good time. The food at the restaurants is good to boot. The drinks are always good. It's worth the trip alone just for the food. The shows are great as well if you can make one.

Saturday Night Lights is always an enjoyable experience for me and my teen/preteen kiddos. Lots to see and do. We enjoy the window shopping, the activities, the live music, special events, the large variety of food options, etc, etc. It's neat and clean, well organized, beautiful scenery!

I went to check out the Earl Scruggs Music Fest 🎶. It was nothing like I imagined it would be, but still enjoyed my time there. Seriously, between finding 704 Leatherworks tucked away in the back near the silo bar, where Laura & Rhonda helped me build a really one of a kind hat that I LOVE ❤️. They were both extremely welcoming and full of creative ideas. The mayor of the Shop, Miles, slept on one of the hides while we designed my hat. Once I finished my hat I had worked up an appetite so, I went on the hunt & found the Silver Spoon Saloon. I ordered the Beer Battered Mushrooms & the Bison burger. I replaced the cheese from Gouda to Cheddar. The bacon jam was really good! The burger was really too raw almost bloody inside , but with the wait time & being as busy as they were, I really didn't want to wait another 30 minutes to try again. The Mushrooms tasted like they were freshly made & not from a frozen bag. Live music going on inside, so if you are looking to have any kind of conversations, this isn't the place. They even have cards on the table to let you know to keep conversations to a minimum while their entertainment is preforming. My final highlight of my time spent at the festival was Bonnie Bouche and her Fine Chocolates. They are tiny masterpieces. Attention to detail both in presentation & flavor combinations. On the average a piece is around $3.25. They are not inexpensive, but you definitely get what you pay for. I wish she shipped, but I also understand that for quality control & standards. Fresh, First Hand, Instant Gratification is Best! 😋 With that being said, there were plenty of vendors for all types of treasures to be found & had. My lasting treasure came from 704 Leatherworks & my tasty treat, Bonnie Bouche. If you make it that way, I hope you will stop in & make a hat or try some treats!
