The Villages Executive Golf Trail: Escambia

Played the Okeechobee, super nice course and super nice people. Personally want to shout out the ambassador, Brian from Baltimore, super nice guy and greatly elevated my experience. He stayed with us for 2 holes and was making jokes the whole time. 5/5 time while visiting my grandparents.

Was in reasonably good shape, greens seemed dry and baked out, they were very fast.

Golf Course was nice, with beautiful greens. Restrooms were out of order at the starter shack and on Okeechobee Executive Course. Fail.

Escambia Executive Hold Course is located out by Moyer Loop just past the Colony plaza shopping area very near Sarasota and Volusia golf courses. It's situated on a hillside which makes it a bit challenging due to it's hills. It is a beautiful course to play at sunset because the views are fantastic overlooking The Villages. It is rather new, and doesn't have much shade and could use a few shade trees. It's also very popular for Night Golf events because it's so convenient to restaurants. Restrooms are available at the golf shack as well as 2 along the golf cart path on the course. There is plenty of parking. Please like this if you found it helpful.

Enjoyable challenging layout. Rated level IV (highest challenge rating class among The Villages Executive courses) If you're​ swing is highth or directionally challenged expect to lose several balls in the cord grass surrounding most of the holes
