The Villages Executive Golf Trail: Yankee Clipper

9 Nov 2025-Played Yankee Clipper Executive Golf Course today in The Villages. What an EMBARESMENT to take potential homeowners and current residents to this course The Greens are in HORRIBLE shape. Tee boxes are not the greatest either. What is going on with the maintenance of these greens. Weeds are on every hole... No need to play this course anymore with the current condition. This was a favorite course before, but my entire golf group is extremely dissatisfied. How many times do you need to close the course down to get the greens fixed correctly. !!Someone or a group of people need to be fired. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE!!!

I don't understand why starters push everyone out early for tee times just to back the entire course up. Any ideas?

All the Executive golf courses are fun and a great opportunity for both novice and seasoned golfers to practice and enjoy time with friends. With that being said, we all should practice courtesy, understanding pace of play varies for all of us. Have a great day!

1st hole ... the course plays long and comes with 2 par 4's. Lots of safe fairways to hit into. (2 water holes though)

Course great! Bossie ambassador. Today cart path only, but Ambassador wanted us to play faster. Second time around he said still not fast enough. I told him my wife has an RA banner because of her heart condition. The course time is 1hr. 45min We finished in 2hrs. Hard to enjoy your day.
