St. Andrews South Golf Club was founded in 1981 in the sun-kissed city of Punta Gorda within the sector of Saint Andrews Isles. The club has a rich history in the southwestern waterside shell of Florida with Lewis "Chip" Powell, a noted golf architect, being the brains behind the exciting course layout. Ever since its inception, the club has catered to hordes of golfers who enjoy the testing yet enjoyable course design. St. Andrews South Golf Club serves exclusively to its members and does not offer public play. The club infrequently provides trial memberships to allow prospective members the opportunity to experience the facilities.
