Cart paths are not in good condition but the course is pristine condition. Very nice staff and a very enjoyable experience overall.

Now let me tell you something about this golf course. Georgia National is in the best shape I’ve seen it since the old Canongate Golf membership days—and trust me, that’s saying a lot. Because when things change, it’s not always for the better. And a few years ago, this course went through some hard times. I saw it at its worst. The greens were rough—so bad that, as a former member, I nearly shed a tear. Weeds were everywhere, and the bunkers? Man, they looked like a crime scene—who did it and why? But now? This course is BACK. The greens are fast and true. The fairways are in excellent condition. The bunkers are clean and well-maintained. Did I mention the greens are fast? That’s right—I said it twice, because they’re up there with the likes of Cherokee Run and Ashton Hills. And that’s not something I say lightly. I genuinely look forward to teeing it up here again whenever I get the chance. They’ve gone back to being private, but I’ve noticed a few GolfNow spots available on Mondays. Georgia National is BACK, baby!

They get two starts for deceiving golfers. As a non-resident we paid $85 dollars to play per person. They don’t tell anyone the greens are punched and almost unputable. Fun to play, not fun being deceived.

I have previously loved this golf course! Always look forward to playing it with friends. Today was sadly disappointing. The golf course has suffered extreme neglect. There is no grass on the greens the collars are very rough. The course is not manicured there is no curb, appeal or aesthetic beauty. For this to be a private club that allows public play I was sadly sadly disappointed. This course needs to be sold to a team of investors who will pour money into it and make it what it used to be.

Love our clubhouse restaurant! The new brunch menu is amazing!! Eggs Benedict, chicken and waffles, crab cakes, omelets - we tried it all. They even have bottomless mimosas for my wifey!! My Bloody Mary was perfect, dirty and spicy. Try the bang bang shrimp at lunch, I get them grilled and made into tacos. The hotdogs are also boss!! If you're on this side of town this place is a gem with gorgeous views of the driving range and course.
