Governors Towne Club was the perfect venue for our daughter’s vision of her wedding day. Not only in the beauty of the grounds, building, bridal suite and ballroom but in the planning, execution and professionalism of the entire staff! When the rain and thunderstorms rolled in, their flexibility to flip the cocktail hour with the ceremony time allowed the storm to pass and an outside ceremony to take place. The staff dried all 180 chair, had towels available for guests and Jamie carried the bride’s train and veil to the start of her walk down the aisle. Memories made to last a lifetime!

We had our daughter's wedding there a few weeks back and this service was exceptional. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone getting married. Governor's Town Club exceeded our expectation from start to finish they were absolutely fantastic

Governors Town Club Golf Course offers an exceptional golfing experience that stands out for several reasons. They have a beautiful, expansive, clubhouse but was disappointed the breakfast did not start until 11 am. It didn’t seem like there was any place to grab chips or a breakfast sandwich either (we played at 10 am). The course was in beautiful shape for October I definitely hope to play again.

Really enjoyable golf round through their "member for a day" deal with Golf Now. Fantastic practice facilities and staff. As for the course... Fairways, greens, bunkers, and layout were great. That day the greens were running a little slow, but they rolled true. A couple barren spots on a few fairways, but that was rare. Tee boxes were the only sub-par aspect. Was strange how on driver holes the tee boxes were sandy. Par 3s weren't too bad. They are doing quite a bit of work around the course. Saw plenty of new sod throughout, so my guess is that the tee boxes will be back to tip top shape soon enough. Will be back and would definitely recommend.
