Juniper Hills Country Club: Juniper Hills

I am not a member here, but I have gotten to go to a few Christmas parties. The clubhouse is a nice space for company parties. The food is great and you get a separate room for your group. The prime rib is delectable and the chicken tender and tasty. The staff are so fast at taking away dirty dishes and helpful if you need anything. The bar is well stocked and I kept hearing that they make great drinks. One gentleman said it's the best "old-fashioned" that he's had.

The fairways and rough are in perfect condition just the right amount of challenge! And the greens great. Plus, a major bonus, they have an amazing chef! The food was seriously delicious. Definitely worth a visit.

The course is in subpar shape compared to previous years. The fairways and rough are in some dire need of improvement primarily getting rolled to flatten the bumps. 18 has some serious eyesores the apartments surrounding the green is ridiculous. I’ve been playing this course since I was a kid and would like to see some improvements even if the monthly rates need to go up. The food hasn’t gotten any better the pool hasn’t changed and staff needs better training.

Course is in excellent shape, smooth fast greens. Greens do have significant undulations that require ball speed control. Fun course with meandering river in a portion of it. Restaurant was very good. Everyone enjoyed their lunch. I recommend the French dip sandwich which was outstanding. As an out-of-town guest it was great. If a resident of Pocatello, you can't beat the value.

Juniper Hills is a great place to go golfing, it is very beautiful and all the staff are very professional. Everytime I eat here the food is amazing and the environment is very pleasant.
