We had our reception here on October 25th, 2025 (ceremony offsite). We were engaged on December 2024 and knew we wanted to be married before the end of 2025. Finding a venue on such a quick timeline was extremely difficult.... we tried dozens of venues in the Chicago-land area and could not find any with availability. I grew up in Woodstock and my immediate family still live there so I was familiar with the Bull Valley Golf Club. I called and they were able to get us in immediately for a tour. We fell in love with the grounds of the club. STUNNING foliage. Ourselves and our planner worked directly with Vickie for the next few months planning all the details. The customer service at BVGC is EXCEPTIONAL. Vickie responded to our every inquiry and request (and we had a lot of them). All of our guests commented on the stunning grounds and beautiful golf club. I would especially like to thank Dylan, the food and beverage manager, who was VERY attentive to us and our guests. We had a last minute request that he was able to fulfill with no issues. We would also like to thank our day- of coordinator, Julia, for her excellent work that night. She checked on us several times and saw her walking around the entire venue all day making sure everything was in order. I was continuously ordering Pepsi's throughout dinner and at one point, one of them brought me a gallon of it for the table so I didn't have to keep ordering it. Both Julia and Dylan were incredible and we were so lucky to have them there that day. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST! We have absolutely no regrets getting married here and had an amazing day (even though it rained!!!).

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Bull Valley and their Team. My husband and I had the most joyous wedding here. It was everything we could have hoped for more. Not only is the venue just incredible but the food and staff made it that much better. Thank you BV Team!! Can’t wait to host another event here in the future! 🤍

We worked with Leela and Vickie for about 18 months planning our wedding at Bull Valley Golf Club. The planning process was excellent. Both were responsive, organized, and kind throughout. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, and our guests commented all night about how stunning the grounds and atmosphere were. Unfortunately, the rehearsal, wedding-day coordination, and follow-through did not reflect the same level of professionalism or care. I arrived about 20 minutes early for our scheduled 3:00 PM rehearsal, as instructed, but no one from the venue was there. I called multiple times with no answer and even emailed Leela, but she didn’t respond until 3:45 PM, which was already after our rehearsal was supposed to end. In that 3:45 PM email, Leela informed me that Julia was running late from her day job. When Julia, the on-site coordinator, finally arrived, she was unprepared. The tables weren’t out, the mantle hadn’t been cleared for our flowers, and she had no idea about our Photo Booth or the tables required for it. I also had to go over a lot of of the things I already went over with Leela and Vickie such as timing of vendors arrivals and where I want the Photo Booth etc. I literally had to go through my emails with Leila and Vicki to share this information with Julia while I’m supposed to be doing my rehearsal the day before my wedding . She also failed to follow through on a simple, confirmed request to have White Claws placed in my room, and instead we were given High Noons. It was immediately clear that she had not been briefed on any of our plans or details, despite nearly two years of preparation. If we’re going to be spending $20,000 on a venue, you would think people that work at said venue would communicate with each other. Even more concerning, one of our guests has severe peanut and spinach allergies, which we clearly communicated in advance. Despite this, she was served a salad containing both spinach and nuts. When I brought this to Julia’s attention, she acknowledged it but took no action to correct it. 6 Days later, her manager reached out by email and asked if I would be available for a call. I replied that I was available and had additional concerns to discuss, but it has now been over two weeks since our wedding and I still have not received a follow-up call. We also experienced billing errors on our final invoice, where several items were accidentally charged twice and had to be corrected after we pointed them out. Additionally, the groom and groomsmen had to specifically ask for water bottles, even though we had already paid for them in advance. They were not initially provided. Finally, I had asked how we would prevent any last-minute guests from seeing me right before walking down the aisle, since I was positioned near the elevator. Leela assured me that staff were upstairs directing guests to stay up there. However, moments later, a guest walked right past us, exactly what I had hoped to avoid. While the venue’s setting is truly beautiful and we appreciated the staff who helped us during the planning process, the day-of coordination, allergy handling, billing accuracy, and overall communication were deeply disappointing. Again, everything was great until the day before and day of my wedding.

Elegant, Seamless, and Memorable – A Perfect 95th Birthday Brunch at Bull Valley Golf Club! From start to finish, our experience at Bull Valley Golf Club was absolutely outstanding. We hosted a 95th birthday brunch for my father-in-law with about 50 guests, and every detail was handled with care, professionalism, and a warm touch that made the day truly special. Vickie, the Director of Sales, was amazing during the planning process—responsive, detail-oriented, and creative in helping us envision the perfect event. On the day of, Dillon was our calm, capable on-site coordinator who made sure everything flowed smoothly. Leela, Michele, and a few other young ladies provided exceptional service—attentive, gracious, and always one step ahead of what we needed. We chose the 'Tea Party' food package (which was charming and delicious), added a champagne tier for mimosas, and a custom package of homemade macaroons that guests are still raving about. The Great Room was ideal—spacious, full of natural light, with stunning views of the golf course and a large hearth where we placed a balloon arch that made for perfect photos. Bull Valley exceeded our expectations in every way. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue with top-notch service and thoughtful touches, look no further. We can’t wait to come back for our next celebration!

A top notch clubhouse to spend a day at for your wedding. The bridal suite is elegant and there are countless beautiful backdrops for your wedding party, family and couple photos inside and out. There's gorgeous views from the reception hall, a big open space for dancing, and you won't be disappointed if you choose to have your ceremony there.
