This place sets many dining standards, but the one I remember fondest is the cookie monster dessert!!!! None came close to it before and none have come close since!

Nice & Clean place. Attended a conference in December and temperature of the conference room and food service are was low and most of us had to put on warm jackets. Food and service were good

Thanksgiving dinner was amazing. Turkey cooked to perfection. Wonderful assortment of sides. Served family style. The salad and dessert bars were delicious. The warm bread pudding and cream brulee were favs at our table.

Had the pleasure to play here as a guest (October 2025). Wonderful experience. Old school American golf course design. Immaculate fairways, greens, and tee boxes. Fast, tricky greens. Spectacular views along the rolling hilly terrain. Best advice: Trust your range finder (put the slope on) and not your eyes. Many optical illusions regarding distance perception on approach shots and par 3's. More than I've experienced anywhere! It your range finder (with the SLOPE ON) says 159 it may look to you as 135. Don't be fooled! ) Kudos to the wonderful club and grounds staff at Elgin CC. Elegant class all around --- not stuffy.
