Hawthorn Woods Country Club: Hawthorne Woods

The new construction is a disaster. M&I has damaged water pipes three times all in the townhome area. There has been no response from the homeowners association. It’s a nightmare.

Greens are great for golfing. The club is not spectacular by any means it high end. The food is always subpar as well as the service. If they could offer better hospitality I'd be more inclined to visit again. It's a shame they're now building new houses that don't go with the same style houses that already exist. Therefore it's just a mixed bag of older traditional homes with more modern homes with siding and less brick. If you're interested in a plot of land to build on there is an abundance throughout the neighborhood!

We chose the 2:30pm slot. We got there with 3 kids, 4 adults - no meat was left. Grouper or Tilapia (can’t remember) was gone, and was highly disappointed. Definitely will be re-considering there for my brunch destinations moving forward.

Everything was so delicious, the brisket, turkey, kugal and then this down here! The flourless chocolate cake so soft it melts in your mouth kinda like a brownie without the crispy top😋.

Had a great time meeting members and hosts; that changed, however, when intoxicated members came in from the course and did not reframe from the use of horrible pejoratives, despite our young sons present. Aside from the aforementioned behavior, Club house is outstanding, food is decent, service was excellent, and membership rates are reasonable.
