Island Bay Yacht Club

As a little girl I grew up coming to Island Bay... I learned how to swim, go fishing, and race sail boats.!! 🏊‍♀️...🎣...⛵... My Grandma and Grandpa were members there... recently my Grandparents passed away...😢... this is a picture, of a carving made from wood, of my Grandpa Smilin's Sail Boat... We loved being out in the water... Summer time was a blast there.!! I miss going out on my Mimi's pontoon boat to the Fish Fry's... Please say Hi to Big Bob and his family for me... And grab some of those yummy mints on your way out... 🤤😂

I had a lot of fun here with my wife. We had a lovely dinner overlooking Lake Springfield.

This is a classy place. I like the outdoor seating on the deck next to the lake. It's a good place for a small reception or party. The staff is nice and attentive and the facility itself seems to have been well cared for over the years. It's not new by any stretch, but it is good just the same.

Very nice relaxing club. Private membership required. Food is very good, a great place to unwind.
