This place looks beautiful but it’s always ALONE. What’s the deal? Can people not enjoy it?

I went to Lansing Country Club to go fishing a few weeks ago. I read about it on their website first and decided to try it out. I checked in with the caretaker just like the website stated and paid $5 just to fish for one day. When I got comfortable and started fishing some lady drove up blowing the car horn like she was crazy. She claimed that I could not fish there unless I pay $500 then she said it is private property and I can't fish at all. I told her what the website said and I paid $5 dollars, and I let her know that the website said $500 for a yearly membership. She said that the website is wrong and it will be changed. Long story short the website is still saying the same thing about the fishing rules and I never thought that I would have to go through someone being that prejudice 20 minutes from where I reside. I would expect for this to happen if I was in another state. African Americans are not allowed at this Country Club, I know I am right because someone I know just fished there and they had know problems. Paid their $5 and caught plenty of fish and they was not told to leave at all.

Great facility. Great staff. The two nine are completely different from each other and fun to play. Plenty of challenge for all skill levels. BEST GREENS in the area, smooth and Very few ball marks, speed about 9
