Was disappointed to see that the entire building was closed while hosting a school golf meet. No carts and no drinks or bathroom for the kids. Why host if your closed?

The grounds keeping could be better but is a great place to golf, especially because it's in a small community. There is a pool that everyone loves it is kinda old and has problems every couple years but is worth your time.

I am from Iowa, I was in area for a celebration of life. And stopped by your Country Club for personal reasons. Was a bit worried what would be said where it's a private club but took a chance. My grt grandparents Ula & W. Alonzo Ray came from Washington with their adult children. Her parents opened a restaurant in town. She decided to buy a farm. It was the house & land, where your Country Club is today. Her youngest son & his wife stayed with them til they found their own farm outside Farmington. Their son's helped farm the land many years til after her husband had passed. A couple yrs later she moved across town. They all belonged to Elmwood church. Her & W. Alonzo loved that home. I went to the door nervously opened it. & told the woman our family connection tothe house. She instantly led us through. Telling is what she knew of the downstairs. & let us take pics. The fireplace was the most beautiful to me in the bar. With the cast pic raised. She even took a couple pics of my sister & I on the front steps. Because no one else was indoors everyone was golfing or in pool at the time. I was very great! The hospitality shown To us it was like I could feel the warmth of family still in that house. Making me very happy! I'm so greatful you didn't tear it down & build a new insulated Morton type building to use as the Country Club, that you kept what my grt gram Ula Ray called "the mansion". Thank you for letting us have a look inside it was wonderful, seeing part of our family's past.

Nice course (fairways and rough are pretty dry right now due to the drought, but usually in very good condition) greens are watered and kept in very good condition. Course offers some challenges but it is pretty straight forward. Sand traps are in better condition than I would expect for a country club this size. Course easily walkable (green to the next tee is generally not very far outside of 14th green to 15th back tee), but holes 4-9 and 13-19 are all uphill from the tee or uphill on the approach) I've played about 10 times as a guest and enjoy it very much. I dont know what a cart costs, but on weekends at least its $18 bucks to walk. It is a country club though. You do have to be accompanied by a member. From what I've heard they have really strong membership numbers for a rural course.

We love Maple Lane Country Club! The golf course, pool and fishing lake keep our family busy and it is such a beautiful place to be! Fun place to gather with friends as well.
