Good walking course, great design, challenging. Great clubhouse. You can feel the history. Very well maintained with an attentive staff and great food.

Attended a wonderful wedding reception here last Saturday. Friendly staff, excellent dinner, really great time. Haven't been here since the 50s when I caddied for my father. His golf buddy was a member. Thankyou.

Just celebrated my best man's wedding here. The staff was extremely professional and everything went off without a hitch. Thanks to the team for providing us with such a memorable evening!

It might get nicer than this, but I’m not sure where. A course that drips on history and lore, if you have the opportunity you have to go, top class. Dating back to the early 20th century, this course feels like the preeminent north shore golf course with a rich championship history. Holding US opens, US Am's and the prominent Western Am here many times.

Great golf course. Has a storied history as the host in 1928, of the Western Open Championship, in 1933, of the U.S. Open, and in 1939, the Amateur Championship, and in 1983 the Amateur Championship. If you ever get invited to play here, don't say no! You will regret it. People have their own personal preferences when it comes to golf courses, however, I find this to be the best golf course in the area. It is beautiful and challenging. The first whole is a long dog legged par four followed by a wonderful par 5. I personally like the back nine the best, but the whole course leaves nothing wanting. Plus, after a long round, you can eat great food and have drinks on the outdoor patio by the pool. In the winter the bar is great with a pool table and the recently redid their dining room. NSCC!!!!!
