Was a very nice evening. The staff was awesome! Right on top of everything. Even when we ran out of cookies. The food was great. Loved the roasted veggies. I was in class of 1960. Favorite memory of CC is in 62 or 63 I was receptionist at Lafayette Life we had our Christmas party at CC and the Purdue glee club came and sang for us. Thank you again for a nice evening

Attended a Tea and Fashion Show via Habitat for humanity. The food and drink wad excellent and plenty of it. The speakers and models were very enjoyable. I hadn't been in this place for about 15 years. It is still a first class place.

This venue was picked over a simple backyard wedding because the mother of the groom thought it would save her time with setup and food. The impression given by the manager/main event planner was that this was a laid back venue that would cater to our backyard, relaxed wedding style. Boy were we wrong. The setup of the rooms was awkward, with the reception area being two large rooms with doors you can open to connect them. This makes it impossible to have any sort of speech that where all guests can see/hear you clearly. I had requested BBQ food because I thought that would be the hardest food to mess up, wrong again. The cornbread was dry as a desert, and we paid for a hog roast which to them meant one tray of pulled pork. The only thing I ate was the beet salad, which was good. We had paid for two bars to be open, we got ONE with ONE bartender for 100+ guests which stopped serving alcohol around 10pm, another thing they conveniently forgot to mention to us. I was told the music would need to be off and guests starting to depart by 11:30pm. I did this, yet the skinny blonde wedding planner with the "can I speak to your manager" haircut was very curt and rude to myself and other guests, rushing us out right at 11:30 as we were collecting our things from the bridal dressing suite. I wouldn't have paid $1,000 for this wedding (much more was paid). Avoid this place unless you like awkward room layouts and prude staff rushing you out before midnight.

I held my wedding reception at the country club. The managers, Suzann and Jennifer, were awesome. They were so so so so helpful in making the day perfect. I received numerous compliments at the reception about the awesome atmosphere and food. They made everything run super smoothly. They were really flexible about everything: food, bar, decorating. I loved it. I could not have asked for a better venue.
