Valparaiso Country Club: Valparaiso

Only visited pool area: Immediately let staff know this was my first visit and I was unfamiliar with protocols. Had to provide special number no less than 3 times during visit. Pool and patio could have been cleaner, especially as it was just 11:15AM. Discarded gummy candy on ground, rusty lounge chairs, lots of floating bugs in the pool left a bit to be desired but no worse than Long Beach Country Club. Food was ordered and delivered poolside with no napkins or cutlery and a stone cold "hot" pretzel.

Extremely challenging, well maintained, and fun! The front nine is outstanding with fantastic level changes, undulating hills, and well placed bunkers. Greens have plenty of speed and break and a wide variety of sizes. Tee shots feel easy yet are difficult. Second shots are the real star and can lead to big numbers. Highly recommend.

The VCC is a fantastic course to hold your company outing at. Our team and partners had a blast at our outing last year. Definitely recommend.

Is a great place to visit, the staff is very friendly and efficient, but as I'm reading reviews a lot of them are anywhere from 3 months and most of them are from 3 to 8 years old, I was recently there for a funeral luncheon, and they did not skip a beat. I do believe though some of their reviews need to be updated as I said some of them were over 7 years old. The club is absolutely stunning, did a great job of redecorating and again the staff is very good very efficient the food as I said at the luncheon was very good as the staff. Just update you are reviews so you can get more business. That's my word of advice, that's what I would do get that business in that door book those parties book those events fill up December like nobody's business

The food is always excellent. Seldom the least bit crowded or overly busy, service is also personal, attentive and as good as one might hope. Prices reflect a great value and one is often tempted to leave a larger than expected ed gratuity. Strongly recommended!
