Southwind Country Club

About the club

Located on the High Plains, The Golf Club at Southwind is known as the premier golf course in Western Kansas. This 18-hole championship course will challenge players of all abilities. Designed by renowned golf course architect Donald Sechrest, Southwind opened in 1980 and since then the course has hosted championship events at all levels including the annual Southwest Kansas Pro-Am and multiple Kansas State Amateurs. Rolling bent grass fairways situated between tall native grasses and well placed bunkers give Southwind a visual appeal from the tee, while slight elevation change on approach shots and multi-level greens make proper club selection a key to success. With 4 sets of tees to choose from, a round at The Golf Club at Southwind will be a challenging yet an enjoyable and memorable experience.
