I was able to have lunch and play 18 as a guest With a great group of guys on Halloween. Beautiful day amongst the changing fall leaves of the oak tree lined fairways. I’m from Atlanta and it kind of reminded me of East Lake a bit. Great conditions! The robotic mowers keeping it pristine was a first. And the icing on the cake for me personally was getting to meet a legendary NFL player I’ve always admired from afar who happens to be a member.

Shawnee Mission East 60th graduation class reunion was my purpose for being there and they did a lovely job. Very attentive, everything was very nice and by yhe way their bathrooms are amazingly clean.

We visited as guests from an affiliate club (Wakonda) and enjoyed our experience at the pool. The staff were friendly and made it easy for us to order food/drinks under our club's member number--it was surprisingly convenient. The pool area looks like it has been recently renovated. Bathrooms were clean and large. There is a separate bar and dining area from the pool area which is nice to have a little separation from the pool area to have a meal and overlook the golf course. The pool food menu was decent. Skip the bloody Mary but good selection of beers and cocktails. The Mahi Mahi fish tacos were good as was the hummus plate. The pool is new with a separate toddler pool. Also the diving boards and lap section have good separation in the main pool.
