This course is in embarrassing disarray, I played as a Guest of a Member this past weekend. Hopefully this charitable 110$ donation of my time and money can be used to repair this former legendary course. I remember how it used to be well reverred under the original owner Ken. In fact this was my first time playing in 15 years and this course has so many burned out fairways, patchy rough, worn out collars It would be disrespectful to goat tracks to call this a goat track. I will say some of the new tee boxes felt nice and the actual putting surface was decent, although I am assuming these are original greens. What was meant to be a treat merely filled me with sadness. I feel for the members as I now understand why he kept pushing for us to play other courses. Shame on the current owner, management, and grounds crew for letting this GEM fade into the current state.

Fun layout with some big elevation changes, and it plays on the long side ~6400 yards. I wish I'd gotten a chance to play it in better shape. The course was soaked from rain the previous night, making the fairways extremely difficult. Also, almost every green had holes from giant Hornets or wasps that were building homes. My understanding is that it only happens for a few weeks every year, and I wish I'd gotten to play it when they weren't around and when it's not totally soaked.

Course isn't in good shape except for the greens. Also, they don't have a senior cart policy so my dad struggled to get around. Staff wasn't helpful w/ a solution for him. Food was great!

Place is solid!! Especially from the tips, greens are firm and roll about a 10, layout is solid and at over 7100 yards with the slopes of the greens and possibilities for pin placements makes it a great challenge... Massive practice facility, 3 of them with 2 driving ranges and a few bunkers for sand game practice and flop shots, pitching and chipping for days and a large practice separate putting green with the small holes to really dial in the flat stick....too bad on state championship mid amateur they move us back to the small turf area to hit balls from... Don't really agree with that decision!!!

A players club. The staff are exceptional and the course is a great test of golf with a fantastic practice facility. This track is long, strategically bunkered, has plenty of elevation change, and penalizing rough. To make your day as enjoyable as possible, the greens are undulating and lightning fast. If you're looking for swimming pools and bocce balls, this isn't your place. Bring your "A" game and leave your mulligans at home. When you're done for the day, meet me in the grill room for a cocktail and chicken sandwich.
