We stayed the weekend in the area (not by boat), we were hoping to stop by this place but it seems to be private. I wasn't able to find information.

Such a gem! Its a small private club, with members who are always willing to help out. The socials once a month are fun, and the sunfish class headed by Bill Whitehead are always such a success. Vermillion bay is for SAIL!
