I Went to play a round with my cousin Billy at the end of December not expecting the course to be in such amazing shape. The greens were smooth as glass and still in perfect shape considering the time of year and the wet weather. Fairways were cut perfect and I was really impressed how much this course has come back from quite a few years ago. Good job to the new greens keeper and his crew. (I'm assuming it's a new person). If given the opportunity to play this course with a member (you have to either be a member or be invited by a member) I wouldn't pass it up if I was you.

1st time to play this course. Had a blast! Lots of challenging layouts and long carries as well as abundantly present sand dunes ready to swallow your drive and follow up shots.

Very challenging golf course. Good venue for the Louisiana Open. Easy access to parking. Great support from the community.
