A Shreveport landmark. Fun for the family for sure,poolside. Or, just a great hangout at the lake for adults in the club’s watering hole/bar, overlooking Cross Lake. We’re not members of the club, we do enjoy being out there for different events. Our youngest son just went through 2 weeks of sail camp, the annual summer week-long camp hosted by the SYC for youth interested in learning to sail. Highly recommend the SYC for lots of summer fun and lakeside water sports.

SYC is a great yacht club with a nice facility. The staff and members were very friendly and helpful.

A nice place to fish and relax. Meet people there who have you laughing about the ones that got away. A very save place also. Because of the police lake unit presence. Who's nice guys. Never any problems since I've been fishing there. There's one thing everyone says they want to find out. Why is the pier closing at 7:30pm now instead of 9:30 or 10pm? I hope I can find out the next time I go there. I'll take photos of the area the next time I'm there.

You have to have a membership here. But it is so beautiful here. The food is great. And wonderful people here.

Came here for a function. Nice picnic area and pool, the bar is just right for a small function, as well as a small area for groups. I can't say much about memberships, or keeping a boat there, but the whole area seemed clean and well kept.
