The Nantucket Country Club was founded in 1922, over the course of its near-century of existence it has played a lengthy, storied role on Nantucket's sports scene. The course was originally designed by Herbert Fowler, a renowned golf architect of the era, known for his naturalistic approach to golf course design. The Nantucket Country Club is a private membership club. Access to the golf course is restricted to members and their guests.
