Pleasure Cove Yacht and Beach Club

Excellent service today by the team at Pleasure Cove. As most boaters know, you often discover “issues” during a routine haul out and we did today. The Pleasure Cove team went the extra mile to get after the issues, even had the Head Lift Operator Brad Fischer rolling up his sleeves to address some trim tab problems. Great experience today, thank you Pleasure Cove!

We had as wonderful Memorial Day weekend that started out at the best marina in Maryland, the pleasure cove marina. It is truly a pleasure to call this our weekend home. The dock hands, Brenner, and the crew are amazing. These guys are always there to get dock carts, ice or anything you need to make your day great. The manager Rick seems to find these amazing kids every year. If you not happy at your marina, or shopping for a new one this is the place to be.

If you haven’t visited or experienced the team at Pleasure Cove you should. Rick the GM is awesome to work with and responsive to all comments and concerns when they pop up. The dock crew is top notch and continue to amaze us at the care they show for our boat. Andrew was super helpful today on our fill up and B-Mack is assisted with the launch yesterday as well as docking and pulling the boat today. Very glad we chose here to be our home port. Just an all around great team. Thanks crew!

The staff is much more than what we expected. Well managed marina and service department. Everyone is friendly and tries to be accommodating. Newly opened Rumor Reel Restaurant has been a hit. Special shout out to Rick Droter, both Mikes in the service department, DJ and all the marina staff.

We had searched for a full service marina nearer our home. We were so pleased with Olverson's Lodge Creek Marina on Virginia's Northern Neck...except that it was 3.5 hours away from our home in Randallstown, MD that when we were coming home from our winter cruise to Florida we researched marinas between Baltimore and Annapolis. Pleasure Cove is about 45 minutes from home. When we arrived at Pleasure Cove on Aug 14, Rick, the manager had 3 dock attendants at our assigned slip to help us tie the lines for SIGMACHI. Greatly appreciated as Jeanne and I had come 73 miles that day from our previous night's anchorage on Mill Creek in Solomon's, MD. Of great convenience to us "oldsters" is that the slipholders' parking is close to the dock. Sadly, the on premises "crab house" is closed because of the Chi-Com Flu... We have some repair issues with SIGMACHI that we will address with Mike,Pleasure Cove's service manager. We look forward to Fall cruising of the Chesapeake Bay and we have made provisions for SIGMACHI to spend the Winter inside of one of Pleasure Cove's immense boat storage buildings! Stay tuned!
