Solomons Island Yacht Club

My wife and I were traveling our last few days on the great loop when we were contacted by Solomon’s yacht club to spend a few nights at their facility. What a wonderful group of folks, from the time we got there to the time we left we felt like part of the group. I even give you two free drink passes when you arrive for their very nice pub bar. We were Invited to stay at the SIYC while traveling Americas Great Loop. We felt welcomed before we ever arrived and the hospitality continued upon arrival and during our entire stay. We were able to have many Amazon packages delivered prior to our arrival and during our stay so we could complete boat maintenance and provision. Clean bathhouses and laundry were much appreciated!

I was invited to the club as a guest for an eighty's disco dance party with name that tune for prizes and great DJ. I was made to feel like one of the regulars from the moment I walked in. Drinks were two dollars and the food was free. You have to join of course. It is a private club. I had so much fun I think I will.

Our yacht club will stop by boat at Solomon's island Yacht club frequently when going up the Bay. I like the friendly atmosphere. Their willingness to accommodate the group. We don't usually take a slip but we did have group members who did and there was plenty of dock space (even for a cat), water and electricity. they have a single washer and dryer on premises . The location is perfect for a walk down the main road to West Marine for parts . Closer by are several restaurants and shops. Clean out and fuel are nearby if you need that. Churches - Catholic and Methodist.

Gorgeous yacht club with great service. A group of us came from Baltimore and they welcomed us with open arms to enjoy their yacht club with them and even stayed open a little later just for us. Clean bar and dining area along with the bathrooms. Would love to come back and visit again.
