Our wedding at YG&T Club could not have been any smoother thanks to our wonderful wedding coordinator Karen and the rest of her staff. The venue itself is exactly what you want for a wedding location - well-staffed professional bar, plenty of space for seating, amazing food (cannot stress this enough), and a beautiful view. From start to finish Karen was similarly wonderful. She was professional and meticulous, always present to fix any hiccups that may arise but never overbearing or invasive with us or our wedding party - she was the definition of timely and efficient throughout the entire process. She even went above and beyond to install a tap of Guinness for us and our guests! Weeks later we are still talking about how lucky we were to have her assistance throughout the planning and execution of our wedding!

Planning from out of state can be stressful, but she made everything so easy - always responsive, flexible, and genuinely invested in making our day special. She answered every question, offered helpful guidance, and went above and beyond to bring our vision to life. On the wedding day, Karen was everywhere - calm, organized, and constantly making sure everything flowed smoothly. She checked in with us, our families, and our vendors, ensuring we could truly relax and enjoy the day. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about the delicious food and the stunning setting. The view, the service, and the overall experience were more than we could have dreamed of. York Golf and Tennis Club, and Karen, made our wedding unforgettable!

First off, the venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. From the meticulously maintained grounds to the dreamy lighting and elegant interior, every corner felt like a page out of a fairytale. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful everything was! They also wouldn’t stop raving about amazing the food was! The filet migon was one of the best we have never had! But what truly made our day unforgettable was Karen, our day-of coordinator. I cannot emphasize this enough: Karen is a godsend. A superstar. A miracle worker in heels.

We visited York Golf & Tennis Club for the first time to attend a wedding. The venue is stunning - beautiful lighting, classy look, and great view of the water. Large lawn area as well for outdoor dinning, mingling, or dancing. Staff were friendly and professional.

We got married at York Golf & Tennis Club in August and it was the best day ever! The venue location is absolutely stunning, with sweeping views of the York River and gorgeous hydrangeas, creating the perfect backdrop for photos. The old clubhouse itself is so charming with a huge wrap-around porch and an expansive dance floor where our ~140 guests danced all night. The YGTC staff is top-tier and we are so thankful for their dedication and work in making all our wedding dreams come true. Karen Finan, the club’s wedding coordinator, is simply the best. Karen is a true professional; organized, thoughtful, kind, attentive, and extremely detail-oriented. She and Sam Baptiste made the planning process stress-free, consulting us with their expertise and communicating at each stage. On the day of our wedding, Karen ensured everything ran smoothly and everyone stayed on schedule. Karen consistently went above and beyond with everything, and you can tell she loves what she does. A special thank you to Shawn Campbell and Chef Greg Leifester for serving such incredibly delicious meals. Our guests cannot stop talking about the food, particularly the cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres including lamb lollipops, crab cakes, tuna and the star of the show, lobster rolls. The main courses of halibut and filet mignon were also perfectly cooked and beautifully plated. We wanted to give our out-of-town guests the full New England experience, and the catering did not disappoint! I highly recommend getting married at YGTC if you want a timeless coastal vibe with gorgeous views, excellent catering and world-class service. We’re so happy that we chose YGTC, and our family and friends will be raving about their time for years to come. It was nothing short of a fairytale and we are forever grateful!
