Northport Point

As a North Port point cottage owner and family heritage of North Port point going back over a hundred years I'd like to first point out the misconception within these reviews this place is very pretty as photos show however it is a private cotters owners association with a gatehouse which means Google cars and mapping cars are not allowed in the front Gates along with anybody who's not an owner this is a no way prejudice this is simply a gated community inside the gates there are children that roam freely and can go out by themselves and have fun without worry of having strangers enter this is standard practice for a gated community I've been coming here my whole life and my family has heritage on this point over 100 years we love the town of North Port and regularly allow leelanau and Northport fire department to come play golf on our off-seasons there are some people saying it smells are there itchy after going in the water all I can say to that is there are a few people within North Port that look down on North Port mainly because there's a misconception that were all privileged people and we're trying to keep them out when in reality it's a gated community and the gate guard is simply doing their job lastly Northport point pumps from a statistic standpoint well over 67% of the North Port townships economy during the summer time it's cottage owners spend thousands of dollars at local businesses from an economic standpoint If this were to suddenly stopped the town may go under I am immensely grateful for the people interactions and locals did I get the privilege to interact with sometimes the air smells but we don't have anything to do with it you're itchy after getting in the water lake Michigan is a big lake chances are we don't have anything to do with it this review is meant to clear up prejudice and misconceptions you shouldn't be upset or sour at somebody for doing their job thank you so much for reading my review I hope this was insightful I've had so many happy memories up in Northport and Lehigh county will be coming back every year.

Unusually large animal feces scattered throughout

Very fortunate to spend some time here. You probably won't be able to enter this development, but take my word for it, it's pretty nice.

DO NOT GO HERE. GPS/Google took me to some private property and we got yelled at, saying Google lied to us. Not sure what happened, but I wouldn't recommend this.
