We went for a wedding. Beautiful venue. Wonderful staff and atmosphere.

Years ago, I photographed a wedding at Paint Creek Country Club. I was lucky enough to have one a few weeks ago and forgot how beautiful of a venue it is. The grounds have plenty of options for photos and the openness and lighting of the main ballroom makes shooting there a breeze. Se sure to head out for photos during golden hour: the sun is soft and the course is nearly empty.

Alyse and Alex’s winter wedding here was absolutely stunning, and as their photographer, I loved getting to experience this space for the first time. When I take photos at Paint Creek, the setting always feels elegant yet comfortable, with plenty of room for creativity and movement throughout the day. It was such a bonus having the locker room and getting-ready area downstairs in the same building as the ceremony and reception — a convenient setup that keeps everything close for the wedding party. Since their wedding was in February, the team easily transitioned everything indoors, and the staff worked quickly to turn the ceremony space into a gorgeous reception hall. The large bar area, open layout, and friendly day-of coordinator made the evening flow effortlessly. Paint Creek Country Club is a wonderful choice for couples looking for a warm, inviting venue for Michigan wedding photography.

My husband I just got married this past Friday at Paint Creek. From the moment we booked with them we knew we had made the right choice. Haley has been phenomenal from the start! No matter the time of day we could always get in touch with Paint Creek to answer our (many) questions. Once wedding day came they did anything and everything they could to help make our day run smoothly and to put our minds at ease. We had some hiccups but we would have never known unless we asked after the wedding, and any of the hiccups that happened were with our outside vendors. The venue was able to accommodate the groom who has celiac and anyone else who had food allergies. During dinner the wait staff personally went to each person who we listed with allergies and spoke to them to confirm any dietary restrictions. The food itself? Absolutely phenomenal. Our guests are absolutely raving about the food. We wish we could go back and do it all over again just so we could get married there again. We have nothing but amazing things to say about Paint Creek and we could not recommend them enough. If you are thinking about getting married at Paint Creek, do it. You will be so happy you did. We are so thankful to everyone from Paint Creek who helped make our day as special as it was. It truly was the best day of our lives.

Great layout! Very scenic. Lots of elevation changes. Fairways are carpet!
