The owner Tom and staff are wonderful. Chef Jen makes delicious food. And the view!! It is so beautiful. What a gem!

I gave a 2 star because Julie, our server was great. Called 1 month ago to make reservations for 20 ladies, told individual checks no problem. Called last week to confirm our reservation. Arrived last night to find out no reservation. Took a while, but we were seated eventually. Informed we could only do group checks, 4 to a group. Luckily, some of us had cash. Now to the meal, the food we got was pretty good BUT they were out of sooo much. 3 people ordered reuben sandwiches, only able to make 2. Their pork chop special, we were informed prior to ordering they only had enough for 5 meals. Out of dressing for the Michigan salad. No tonic for drinks. The bread was fantastic but couldn't get refills because they wouldn't have enough for the few other diners that were there. I ordered mussels, which was a main course, didn't even include rice, soup, salad nothing. Just 12 mussels in a good sauce and a different bread toasted for dipping. Seriously disappointed

DO NOT RENT A BOAT FROM HERE! I rented a boat for 2 full days. Paid over $800.00. You get 2 tanks of gas on the boat when you leave for the day. While out on the boat, tank 1 was exhausted. Tried switching to 2nd tank but there was no gas in it. We waited on the boat for them to tow us in. I got an email this morning that says," I spoke with my Saturday crew and a witness who saw them check both tanks to be sure they were full before you rented the boat on 6/22 (as I hoped and suspected). I have also checked and have a copy of the plot of the boat on 6/22 and it seems unlikely even one tank should have been exhausted. Therefore, unless you have some other explanation, I am turning this over to the Washtenaw County Prosecutor's Office to pursue a claim of "theft by conversion." " Never in all my life!

We were told that food may take a while to come out which we were totally fine with. However, the server we had is what was slow. We got our appetizers before they even gave us water. Normally this would be impressive but he completely forgot about us and took over 40 minutes to bring our drinks and water. Our server was extremely forgetful as we asked for refills 3 times. Never received them. Meanwhile we could see our server inside bussing his other tables and tending to them the entire time. We asked for additional sauce to go with the shrimp as well, which never came.Took 20 minutes to bring back the boxes and bill. The food was good. I loved the bruschetta appetizer. $5 is a great deal and it was quality for what you got. The Mac and cheese was great as was the turkey club. The portion sizes were good. Entrees came with a soup salad or bread. Overall it would have been a great experience but I think waiting 40 minutes for a water was ridiculous.

Place is beautiful, then they put in the cheapest most uncomfortable chairs in the world for seating. Went for breakfast at 10:30. Should have gotten lunch as it took forever to come out then it was all cold. Has great potential but not living up to it.
