Best service, best boats, best docks. This place is amazing. Scott and Anthony have done an amazing job!

The GM Dan is insanely chill and he does a great job. WAY better than the old guy curt of kurt or whatever, this guy Dan is awesome. The club has been busy lately! Which is great! Also the Social Chair Lise Marinelli does an amazing job running the social events. Her son is cool too.

I posted a negative review last saturday about our experience at SHYC and they removed it without any feedback on their part for the poor service we got so lets post again! Arrived friday mid day and pulled to the fuel dock. Topped off both tanks and paid for our slip (over 600 dollars).Docked boat and plugged into their electrical box. Their service panel kept blowing breakers. I told dock attendant that we never had any issues at any other marinas, he tried helping for about 10 minutes then informed me his shift was over and had to leave. Leaving us with no power. I went through ever scenario but kept coming up with the same result, after several attempts i was able to get an outlet and my refrigerator to work, thats all no ac no battery charger nothing else. We contemplated leaving and taking the loss but was excited to be in south haven, also it was getting too late to head to Saugatuck. We tried to connect to WiFi but we could not get passcode because no one was around. Finally found matt on the dock, got passcode but still could not connect. So we slept on a hot boat in the dark with no tv. Long story short they absolutely did not care to the point of erasing my review and sweeping us under the rug. We will never go back and I will continue to tell my story of the poor service we received. SHYC is by fair the worst marina were ever stayed at! Thanks for ripping us off and I look forward to telling my story ever. Hanve i get! Also Saugatuck and st joe we had no issues getting power!

Food and service was very good. Unfortunately they were out of salmon which was what I and others really wanted and we were there fairly early.

The South Haven Yacht Club was the perfect venue for our dream wedding with its location right in the heart of downtown and on the water it was honestly a picture perfect night. The staff and event coordinators went above and beyond to make sure our night was as magical as we imagined and more so. They took care of all the rental coordinations and set up all our decor exactly how we had envisioned. Everything from napkin folding and lighting 150 tea lights to a seamless dinner presentation was taken care of. With a wedding of about 125 we had plenty of room and even more to eat, mingle, and dance! Many of our guests were from out of town and the Yacht Club was the perfect place for them to see why we chose South Haven. I would recommend any bride and groom to check them out and see for yourself. It was truly the greatest night of our lives!
