Oakwood Country Club

This was a Great venue for our Son's wedding

I became a National member as my children live in the Kansas City area, and I reside in St. Louis. From the time I stepped into the club it has been nothing but great. The staff, the facilities, the course, the amenities, all our outstanding. Little did I realize that when I joined to be able to play golf when away from my home did I find a gem of a club. Thanks

A gem in the Kansas City golf scene, the course has gone through some big upgrades under new ownership and is in terrific condition. Great amenities and staff. There are different lounges for drinks and food, which are all great. If you’re able to play with a member, you won’t regret the experience.

This is a truly beautiful place. The club house is classic and elegant, especially the dining hall. The course itself is challenging and picturesque. Once an exclusively Jewish country club, it was purchased by a local real estate company. They have opened up the membership and invested a lot of money to restore the place to its former grandeur.

I can't say enough good things about Oakwood Country Club, and especially about Katelyn as the event coordinator! From the beginning, she helped us by answering all our questions about the big day, keeping us informed of changes, being absolutely wonderful and flexible with our date change due to COVID, and going above and beyond to ensure that all our many requests and needs were met. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and a perfect space for family and friends. The food is FANTASTIC! And, above all, the staff there truly are so caring and considerate. The day of our wedding, we had a family emergency which meant some of our guests had to take turns caring for someone and therefore couldn't attend all the reception. Oakwood boxed up food and made sure their dinner was brought to them! We truly had such a lovely wedding and would highly recommend Oakwood to anyone looking for a unique and beautiful space.
